Wishes in the Wind

Wishes blow in the winds, aimlessly scattered about tree branches and green hill tops, dreams die in the depths of the device laid between my hands.

Vibrations cause heartbeats to be forgotten, as misery is swept into a pile of ashes, forgotten and left alone.

Words jagged as a spear slice the open wound inside me to speak, and hope rips the opportunities of life I had once been given into microscopic bits of matter strewn in the air.

Lives are given only to be taken from uncontrollable hands.

No fate is given the chance to hold itself up on its two feet.

Crashing down into deep despair leaves are trampled on as fall approaches.

No sound, or noises are mocked or made,

just shattered until is stings in the stillness.
