Forum Submissions

The Post welcomes FORUM submissions from all FHS students. In order to be considered for publication, pieces must meet the following standards:
• presents a compelling argument with evidentiary support
• addresses a counter-argument
• is well-reasoned; is not a tirade or a rant
• may not bully, harass, or be libelous
• tone is persuasive, not inflammatory
These standards will be applied to all submissions (from Franklin Post staff or otherwise), regardless of the viewpoint expressed. All pieces published in the Post are subject to editing. Submissions must be suitable for publication in a high school newspaper; editorial team and school administration reserve the right to determine suitability. Final decisions about publication will be made in accordance with school and district policies.
